Detroit Red Wings forward Henrik Zetterberg will be featured in an upcoming television advertising campaign promoting the playoffs.
The National Hockey League will be in Detroit on Tuesday to film Zetterberg in a commercial called "Walkout" — a spot "designed to highlight the distinct intensity and drama of playoff hockey seen through the eyes of the players," according to an e-mail from Michael DiLorenzo, NHL director of corporate communications.
The ad will show Zetterberg walking onto the ice for a road playoff game with 20,000 fans rooting against him. The league didn't say where the spot would be filmed.
The campaign, called "The Cup Changes Everything," begins airing March 31. Playoffs begin in April.

Just over two minutes later, Hank joined Datsyuk and defenseman Derek Meech on a 3-on-1 breakaway. Datsyuk carried the puck down the left-wing with Meech driving down the middle of the ice towards the net and tangling with Av’s defender Jordan Leopold. Once again, Pavel sent a pass across to Zetterberg as the net-minder came across his crease to his left. But, as Theodore came to his glove-side post, Zetterberg held onto the puck, maneuvered around Meech and Leopold and wristed a shot into the open net behind the Av’s goalie. Datsyuk’s assist on the goal was his

Players were quick to point the finger at Henrik Zetterberg. Draper figures it's a retaliation for all the birthday shaving cream pies in the face he has delivered to teammates.
"When you go at guys, chances are sometimes things are going to come back at you,'' Draper said."Did he spell my name right? You never know with Z. "Am I at least taller than Huds (who's listed at 5-9) or the same size? I was actually going to measure myself against Nick, but now I don't have to,'' the 5-10 Draper said. "The height thing, I knew I'd be on a lot of guys' list for that. It's something I can't control, it is what it is.''
Zetterberg’s Scoring Streak Ends at Eight Games
By Chris Turner, Zetterbergfan.com, February 12, 2008
The Detroit Red Wings haven’t been very hot lately, losing their fourth straight game tonight in Nashville, but star forward Henrik Zetterberg had been on an eight game scoring streak that was halted in this evening’s 4-2 loss to the Predators, in which he was a -3 (plus/minus) and also received an interference penalty. Prior to tonight’s game, Henrik had six goals and six assists and was a +11 in the past eight games.
Zetterberg looks to start another scoring streak on Friday at the Joe Louis Arena against the Columbus Blue Jackets, a team that Hank has only 6 goals and 10 assists against in 23 career games.
Currently, Zetterberg is sixth amongst league-leading scorers with 70 total points in 52 games (33 goals, 37 assists) and is a +26, fourth in the NHL. He is on pace for career highs of 48 goals, 53 assists, 101 points, +38, and 42 penalty minutes in 72 games.
With his next point, Henrik will break a three-way tie with teammate Kris Draper and former Red Wings sniper and current television commentator Mickey Redmond for sole possession of with 311 career points.
Zetterberg Scores Two Goals in Loss, Tied for Third amongst League-Leading Scorers
By Chris Turner, Zetterbergfan.com, February 7, 2008
He’s slowly climbed back up the league-leading scorers list, despite having missed seven games this season with a bad back. Henrik Zetterberg scored two goals in tonight’s 5-3 loss to the Los Angeles Kings at the Joe Louis Arena, bringing his season goals total to 33 and his points total to 68. That ties him with fellow Swede Daniel Alfredsson of the Ottawa Senators for third place in the NHL. Washington Capitals star forward Alexander Ovechkin is at the top of the list with 46 goals and 73 points.
Zetterberg’s first goal of the game was a go-ahead goal with only 1:09 left in the first period, making it a 2-1 Red Wing’s lead. Henrik wristed a seemingly harmless shot at the King’s net from deep in the left face-off circle that somehow trickled through goalie Jason Lebarbera.
Z’s second goal gave Detroit a 3-1 lead at 13:05 of the second period when he got Lebarbera to over-commit to one side of the net as he went behind L.A.’s goal and finished a wrap-around for his 33rd goal of the year.
With 26 games remaining this season, Henrik needs only six goals to tie his career high of 39 from the 2005-06 campaign. He is still on pace for 51 goals this season. He could also finish with over 50 assists and 100 points. His all-time bests are 46 assists and 85 points in 2005-06.
Zetterberg was a +2 (plus/minus) in tonight’s match. He is currently a +30 this season and is on track for a +46. His previous high mark is +29. Hank is 4th in the league behind teammates Niklas Lidstrom (+43), Pavel Datsyuk (+36), and

But, with just 2:20 remaining in a scoreless match, Zetterberg circled behind Budaj’s net and attempted a wrap-around.
The point tonight was Hank’s 303rd career point (139 goals, 164 assists). He passes Red Wings great, defenseman Gary Bergman for .
